May - June 2015: Within the context of the East Southern African-Indian Ocean Partnership and the approval of the Government of Mauritius the Forensic Science Laboratory provided mentorship to the nascent Regional Forensic Referral Centre in the form of a four weeks study placement for two delegates; The Director of Directorate of FSS, Uganda Police Force and The HOD of Criminal Identification in Directorate of Forensic Service.
This placement focused mainly on Forensic Governance, Good Practices and Forensic Process Management as part of building a Forensic Science Centre of excellence in Uganda.

October 2015 - January 2016: As part of the CRIMLEA project, Three Forensic Scientists from the Republic of Djibouti came for a placement of three months October 2015 to January 2016, whereby they followed extensive training in Evidence Recovery and Forensic DNA Analysis.
